Technique: lost wax casting

Origin: Replica is inspired to a findings that is composed by two decorative elements: a lion’s head and a wolf’s head, recovered from Imperial Roman ships in Nemi by a diver on 3 October 1895. These ships are probably of Caligola. Now exhibited in: Rome, National Roman Museum of Palazzo Massimo (Lake of Nemi, first ship  – Calilgola 37-41 A.D.)
